You Can’t Win When You Ain’t Right Within.

I have been holding on to this blog for the last couple of weeks, not really knowing what to say or how to convey this without sounding like I’m talking about something or someone specific. The title of this blog can easily be applied to anything you do in life, not just within this writing industry. This blog may seem jumbled together, but hopefully you can get through it. If you need clarification on anything, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Anyways.

If you have been following me for a while, then you know that I have been saying this for a long ass time. I have only been in this writing industry for almost three years and every time I think I can’t be surprised by some shit, I am. Like, there is enough money in the world for everyone to eat, why people have to try, and sabotage people’s shit is beyond me, but what those people don’t understand is that, whatever that person’s name is on, God intended for their name to be there. I’m sorry baby, but if you don’t have what you want right now, then that means your name not on it and it’s not your time. That don’t mean that your name won’t ever be there, it just means that your name is not on there RIGHT NOW! (“There” can be whatever you feel like you want your name to be on: #1 Bestseller List, Top 100 List, etc, etc) Like when it comes time for your name to be pulled, there is nothing another person will be able to do because it’s your time! Whatever you want to do in life takes time and patience. This is not a 100-meter dash race.

Check your heart.

Are you only friends with a certain person or people because of what they can do for you, or are you really their genuine friend?

Are you only doing something for people because you want them to do something for you, or are you doing it out of the goodness of your heart?

Me, personally, I know I help people because it’s something that I love to do. I’m not ever looking for anything in return. It’s nice to be nice, even when people do messed up shit to you. I say that because people doing fucked up shit to you ain’t got shit to do with you, and everything to do with them. They are fighting battles within themselves, and are taking it out on the next person, instead of fixing themselves internally. Those types of people put on fronts by being nice in public, but behind closed doors, they are someone completely different. That shit not going to get you in any door any quicker.

I guess I could add “Why does good shit happen to seemingly bad people?”

I have been there a time or two, thinking that same shit, in general, but as the elders say, “You either going to pay on the front end or the back end.” That was a long time ago, now I mind my business, and focus on myself.

At this point, I feel like I’m rambling, so be a good person, mind your own damn business, and check your heart, because you can’t win when you ain’t right within.
